Managing Your Account

How to manage your Assembley organisation — updating organisation details, the participant label, inviting colleagues, and where billing and account settings live.

Most day-to-day work in Assembley is about assemblies and voters, but a few things live at the account level — your organisation's identity, your team, and your plan. This article covers what you manage there.

Organisation details

Your organisation's settings hold the basics: its name, type, and the participant label you use for voters (shareholders, members, partners, and so on). The organisation type seeds defaults for new voter groups, and the participant label changes how voters are referred to across the interface. See Setting Up Your Organization.

You can update these as your organisation evolves — for example, changing the participant label if your terminology changes.

Your team

If colleagues help run assemblies, you can add them to your organisation so they can administer meetings and manage voters. Different people can have different levels of access, so you can give someone the ability to help run meetings without handing over everything. See Roles and Permissions.

Plan and billing

Your subscription is tied to your organisation, and billing is managed from your account. For how plans are structured and where to find current pricing, see Plans and Pricing and the pricing page.

Keeping things tidy

A few habits keep an account healthy:

  • Keep your organisation details current so they read correctly in invitations and documents.
  • Review who has access periodically and remove people who no longer need it.
  • Keep your voter register accurate — it's the part that touches every meeting. See Editing and Removing Voters.

Data and privacy

Because your account holds personal data about your voters, it's worth understanding how that data is handled and where it's stored. See Data Privacy and GDPR.
